Swimming Pool Shades in Pakistan
Swimming pool shades are overhead fabric structures that reduce direct sun exposure over pools and poolside areas. Our Lahore-based team designs them for homes, hotels and clubs across Pakistan. We do not supply water-surface pool covers.
FR Tensile Shades installs overhead structures for swimming pools and poolside spaces. These shades sit above the area; they are not covers laid on the water surface.
The design starts with pool dimensions, access and the area you want shaded. The proposal considers where shade falls and how people use the poolside space.
What are Swimming Pool Tensile Shades?
A swimming-pool shade uses tensioned fabric above the water or surrounding area. Its height, supports and footprint are planned around access and use of the pool.

Single-pool coverage can use a canopy-shaped form or another fabric geometry. Choose the form around the pool footprint and available support positions.

Fabric and Frame Specifications
We supply KL720 and KL820 PVC-coated woven polyester, available in white, off-white and grey. Both use 1000D 23×23 woven fabric and are manufactured to a technical specification, tested for tear strength to ISO 4674-1:2016.

The reported tear-test method is ISO 4674-1:2016 Method B. The manufacturer states that the anti-UV treatment provides approximately 4 to 5 years with no fading. This is the manufacturer’s stated rating, not our own no-fading guarantee or a measured UV-blocking percentage.
Data-sheet values are indicative historical results and guidance only, without a manufacturer warranty in the sheet. The manufacturer recommends testing performance for the intended application. These fabric results do not establish the performance of a complete installed structure.
MS Pipe Frame
All our tensile shade structures use mild steel (MS) pipe frames. Our team prepares and reviews structural calculations in-house for every project before sharing them with the client. Wind exposure and support requirements are assessed as part of the design.

Private pools
Decide whether you want coverage over the water, seating or the route beside the pool. Share the full pool layout so support positions can be considered alongside access.
Hotels and club pools
Guest movement, poolside seating and surrounding buildings affect the layout. A canopy-shaped cover and another fabric form are design choices within the same overhead-shade service.
Exposure and maintenance
The frame and fabric need inspection and care suited to the surroundings. After-sales inspections, adjustments and maintenance are available; the installation does not guarantee comfortable use in every weather condition.

Consultation and quotes are free. Site inspection in Lahore is free. For other locations in Pakistan, assessment starts with client-submitted photos and videos; visits are arranged on a per-project basis.

Is this an overhead shade or a pool cover?
It is an overhead shade structure. We do not supply water-surface pool covers, and the fabric canopy is not a substitute for a product designed to cover the water itself.
Can pool access remain clear?
Access is a design consideration. We review the pool perimeter, surrounding structures and intended coverage before proposing where the supports can stand.
What weather protection can I expect?
The structure reduces direct sun exposure over the covered area. Rain coverage depends on the layout and design; an overhead shade does not promise uninterrupted use in every weather condition.
What affects the price?
The span, intended coverage, supports, frame, fabric, drainage and access for installation affect the quote. Send site dimensions and images for a free consultation.
Does the fabric have UV treatment?
Yes. The manufacturer states that the fabric includes anti-UV treatment. Its stated no-fading period is described in the material block; it is not a measured UV-blocking percentage or a pool-water cooling claim.
Can you assess a pool outside Lahore?
Yes. Send photos, videos and dimensions of the pool and surrounding space. Assessment begins from those materials; visits outside Lahore are arranged individually. Site inspections in Lahore are free.
